The best ways to see New York City

Don’t miss Central Park

If you are going to visit New York City, you will want to make sure to see one of its most famous sites, Central Park. Even if you come from a more rural part of the world, you will be able to appreciate the stark contrast of the finely crafted and cared for park space in the middle of one of the biggest cities in the world. When you visit the park, there are many ways to explore it, but you can’t go wrong with a Central Park Rickshaw. With a rickshaw, you will be able to enjoy as much of the park as you would like without having to do all of the walking to get to the various locations. You will experience a smooth and comfortable ride with someone at the pedals that knows the park better than anyone. If you want, you can even have the driver take you to other locations in the city while you are their passenger.

Another fan favorite of New York City is the Statue of Liberty. Unfortunately you can’t take a rickshaw to visit her, but you can take a ferry. A ferry ride to visit Lady Liberty is a great little adventure that will bring you close enough to our iconic statue that you will be able to go inside and explore the interior. You might not be able to climb up to the torch depending on what is happening with repairs and such, but you will be able to read that famous plaque and contemplate the freedoms that we have in this country.

Use your feet to explore Times Square

If you are in New York City, you need to make your way to Times Square at some point. If you go, you will be best off on your feet because you will want the freedom to explore the different places you can visit. As you explore, you will see many places you have heard about. Maybe you will want to see the Ed Sullivan Theater where Steven Colbert records the Tonight Show or just check out a Broadway show. You could even just see how many Starbucks coffee shops you can find in a single day. When it comes to Times Square, you can let your feet do the walking.

No matter where you go in New York City, there will be amazing things to see and do. You just need to figure out the best way to get where you are going. These are just a few of the options, but when you get there, be sure to explore all of your options including the subway and taxi cabs. (You could also use Uber if you feel brave.) When you get a feel for all of the options that New York City provides, you will find that you have the City at your finger tips and can enjoy everything that The City That Doesn’t Sleep has to offer you.
