What is SELECT?

SELECT is a global VIP membership that offers its members great discounts worldwide at luxury hotels & resorts, cruise lines, airlines, major rental car agencies, luxury car brands and other travel services and destinations.

Members also receive notable discounts on various designer brand clothing, travel gear & equipment, spas, gyms, yoga retreats, pro sports games, major US cinema chains and other retailers & entertainment options.

SELECT members are also invited to special events in NYC, DC, Chicago, Miami, San Francisco, LA and Orange County. They include cocktail parties, gallery openings, brand events, opening night events, black tie galas and various annual events.

Why I joined SELECT

Since I work as a professional luxury & boutique hotel reviewer, my new SELECT membership fits right into my lifestyle and travels. I’ll be heading out on more full-time world travels in February, so I’m excited to see what kinds of perks, discounts and VIP services I’ll be able to enjoy on the road next year.

To be honest, currently, many SELECT partners are primarily based in the USA. That goes for gourmet restaurants, trendy bars & nightclubs, most retailers, cinemas, spas, gyms, special events and other specialized businesses. * 10-49% off game tickets, and/or concession credits, VIP package discounts and other perks for New York Yankees, Islanders & Jets; Washington Nationals, Capitals & Wizards; and Brooklyn Nets.

Major Cinema Chain ticket discounts at over 500 cinemas around the US

* 35-50% off tickets at Cinemart, Century, Bow Tie Cinemas, AMC and Landmark Cinemas

* BMW, Mini-Cooper, Alfa Romeo, Audi, Volvo, Jeep, Fiat, GMC and Buick all offer dealer invoice pricing or lower to SELECT members! Other car brands offer 4-6% discounts on car purchases.

International benefits for SELECT members:

Major discounts on over 500,000 luxury hotels & resorts worldwide

* SELECT members receive up to 70% discount on hotel rates at many major international luxury hotel chains, as well as at smaller local luxury hotels & resorts. These 500,000 hotels are located in nearly every country on the planet .

Notable discounts on most major car rental companies

* Avis, Budget, Enterprise, National and Hertz all offer 20-25% discounts on car rentals to SELECT members. This applies to their locations domestic as well as worldwide in over 145 countries.

Perks and discounts on cruises and airlines

* Celebrity and Royal Caribbean Cruises offer SELECT members $200 credit to be used onboard.

* Air New Zealand offers 20-30% off flights, while Hawaiian Air offers 5% off select flights.

There are hundreds of other partners offering great discounts, perks and benefits to SELECT members. I’ve just listed several major ones that particularly caught my eye.
