Alan Wong’s Restaurant, 1857 S. King Street

When Alan Wong’s Restaurant claimed the Restaurant of the Year award in 2014, it wasn’t the first time his flagship eatery on King Street had taken the top spot. Head over to this restaurant to enjoy dishes including Butter Poached Keahole Lobster and Pan Seared Opakapaka, and experience Hawaiian regional cuisine at its very best.

Green and Vines, 909 Kapiolani Boulevard

A menu doesn’t get much healthier than the one on offer at Green and Vines. Visit this popular vegan restaurant to tuck into the likes of Living Lasagne or Syl’s Garden Burger with Jicama Fries. Little Village Chinese Noodle House, 1113 Smith Street

Kenneth and Jennifer Chan arrived in America in 1974, and — before opening the Little Village Chinese Noodle House to instant acclaim in 2001 — worked at and owned a number of Hawaii restaurants. Head over to sample the Chan’s unique cooking style expertly blended with local cuisine. Popular dishes include Szechuan Spicy Chicken, Sizzling Black Cod, and Tofu with Bamboo Fungus.

Nicolas Chaizehis –the Lyon-born chef who heads up this lively restaurant — has created an enticing menu that blends French taste with Hawaiian style. Tuck into dishes including Furikake Pan Seared Ahi and Nico’s Steamed Clams, and enjoy live music on Wednesdays and over the weekend.

Nobu Waikiki, 2233 Helumoa Road

Chef Nobu Matsuhisa is at the helm of Nobu Waikiki, delighting patrons with expertly designed signature dishes such as Yellowtail Sashimi with Jalapeno and Black Cod Miso. It’s not just the food that’s stylish at this David Rockwell-designed restaurant. Its intimate setting in the Waikiki Parc Hotel is nothing short of stunning.
