Myanmar is a huge melting pot of people from many different cultures: Burmese, Thai, Indian, Nepali, Chinese and many tribal people such as the Shan and Kachin.

All these people lead just as many different lives in Myanmar: farmers, animal herders, market sellers, boatmen, drivers, and businessmen to name a few. Among their midst wander the ever-present Buddhist monks and nuns, a daily sight in Myanmar.
