Wonderfully Surprising Singapore Parks
Singapore is famous worldwide as a sleek modern city graced by tall skyscrapers, impressive modern architecture and luxury shopping.
But Singapore is not only a city. It is, in fact, an independent island nation situated in the tropics. Often overlooked are Singapore’s 300+ parks which offer just about every kind of natural setting. There are beaches, forests, hills, canopy walks, lakes, reservoirs, rivers, mangroves, open meadows, cliffs and landscaped gardens.
Some afford stunning views of the distant city. At others visitors are completely immmersed in nature, with no suggestion of a city anywhere.
This photo gallery presents 30 views of Singapore’s magnificent and varied parks which are scattered throughout the country. I’ll bet you never knew Singapore was so green!
