PHOTO GALLERY: CHRISTMAS IN KYOTO PHOTOS
While living in Kyoto for 6 years, the city probably experienced lasting snow a total of 3 or 4 times, and it usually melted within one day. So on those rare occasions that Kyoto was dusted with lovely white snow, my friend and I dropped everything and ran out to enjoy the spectacular visions of Japan’s distinctive temples, gardens, pine trees and homes dusted with fluffy white snow. One Christmas we were graced with a sudden snow storm, so we enjoyed a novel White Christmas in Japan. Please enjoy these rare shots of Kyoto landmarks clothed in nature’s white coat. cheers, Lash SEE FULL GALLERY
