Many times I’ve gushed on and on about Bali’s plethora of amazing arts: wood carvings, stone sculptures, unique architecture, colorful paintings, elaborate temples, beautiful fabrics, exciting gamelan music and exotic dance performances. In this photo gallery I present an assortment of Bali’s exquisitely carved stone statues which grace the lawns and gardens of Bali’s resorts, restaurants and temples. They range from demonic-looking temple guardians to delicate dancers to modern abstracts to serene musicians to placid Buddhas. Take a look to find your favorites!
What are your opinions of Bali’s wild temple guardians? Scary or cool?
Any statues you’d like to claim for your garden?
Comments much appreciated! Join in the fun… cheers, Lash
