Man oh man, so much news for me lately! Guest posts, photo mentions, another interview, my featured article in print magazine, being listed as one of the Top 28 Blogs That Rock… rolling right along…
Last week I had another guest post featured on one of the internet’s Top 100 Travel Blogs, Art of Backpacking.
This time in Why Do Travelers Eat in Tourist Restaurants? I ponder out loud why so many travelers eat in those blase, non-descript tourist restaurants found all over the world.
As I point out, the food in each country’s local restaurants and food stalls is infinitely more authentic, tastier, and much less expensive. You also get a more authentic and adventurous dining experience by eating amidst locals instead of with a bunch of other western travelers.
