14 Best Articles of 2021 on LashWorldTour

At the beginning of each year I review all the travel articles I wrote in the previous year and pick out what I consider to be the best.

I look for posts that could be the most useful, informative and/or entertaining. The articles include my personal travel tips and recommendations; intriguing facts about specific countries, cities or regions; introductions to lesser-known countries that I visited during the year; and my personal travel adventures, misadventures & stories.

For 2021 I’ve also included two useful posts about traveling in this Covid world.

Speaking of Covid, the pandemic really put a dent in my 2021 world travels. It caused me a lot of extra complications, expenses, wasted travel research, abadondoned travel plans and re-shuffling. I wrote all about that in my 2021 Travel Review.

Never the less, I did manage to travel full-time throughout 2021. But I only managed to explore five countries, only three of which were new destinations for me, plus a year-end family visit to Florida.

I spent time in Bosnia & Herzegovina, Turkey (Yeah!), Egypt, the country Georgia, Aruba and Florida, USA. Only Egypt, Georgia and Aruba were new for me.

Naturally, all the articles I wrote in 2021 are about these six countries, as well as info about traveling internationally during the Covid pandemic.
