I’ll be in Myanmar May 12 – June 12

I’m making this announcement because I’m anticipating very little internet access while I’m in Myanmar for one month!

Hopefully I’ll be able to get online once or twice a week for a few hours… Enough time to post some new photos and travel updates from Myanmar, live.

In the meantime, I’ve scheduled weekly travel tales, tips and photo galleries of the most popular, amusing and interesting posts from my archives – nearly 500 posts published here on LashWorldTour. I promise they will be enough to keep you all busy & entertained & inspired!

btw – I went to Myanmar back in 2000, long before it became a tourist ‘hot spot’ in 2010. Of all the countries I’ve visited, Myanmar is the one I’ve most wanted to re-visit! So here I go at long last.

Needless to say, I’ve super excited. I’m very curious to see if it’s still the amazing, one-of-a-kind culture I experienced last time… or how it’s been changed by tourism. I hope it’s still untainted! … I’ll find out soon, and I’ll be sure to let you know…

Meanwhile, if you have any pending questions or travel queries, I’m afraid you might have to wait until I return to Malaysia in mid June.

I’ll be back to my regular posting schedule in mid-June, with lots of exciting photos, stories and tips from amazing Myanmar! See you all then…
