PHOTO GALLERY: Views of Cordoba Spain
Cordoba is an ancient city in southern Spain. It’s been home to Iberian, Roman and Islamic rulers over the centuries. Each Empire has left its mark on this charming city full of history. Cordoba is full of narrow stone roads, grand cathedrals and mosques, plazas and courtyards.
I had the great fortune of staying at Spain’s gorgeous Costa del Sol for 3 weeks with my aunt & uncle one summer. They took me all over the regioin to visit famous cities, national parks, mountains, and seaside towns.
One of our best trips was to Cordoba, where we visited the astounding La Mesqiuta – Great Mosque of Cordoba – and wandered around the city’s charming streets and plazas.
This photo gallery presents a collection of street scenes from my visit to Cordoba in summer, 2009.
