PHOTO GALLERY: PENANG ISLAND ARCHITECTURE
I’m thrilled to announce that I’m moving to Penang Island, Malaysia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of my favorite places in SE Asia. I’ve visited Penang 3 or 4 times in recent years and was charmed each time by it’s amazing, diverse architecture, delicious food, great natural areas, and cultural diversity. This photo gallery of pics I’ve taken on past trips offers a preview of where I’ll be writing, photographing, and adventuring for the next few months. I can hardly wait to share more of Penang with you! Get prepared for the frenzied Thaipusam Indian Festival coming in early February; delicious Indian, Chinese, and Malay foods; hiking, cycling, beaches, camping, jungles.. Oh, it’s going to be awesome! Meanwhile, please enjoy this preview of Penang Architecture. cheers, Lash
