Top 12 Travel Stories of 2013 on LashWorldTour

2013 was another whopping year of new travel posts on LashWorldTour. In total I published 42 new travel stories, 38 new travel tips articles and 40 new photo galleries from my world travels.

The weekly travel stories consist of destination reports, adventure tales, travel perspectives, misadventures, lists of things to see & do, and cultural insights of the places I visit.

You might have already noticed a slight discrepancy about weekly stories published in 2013 in that I published only 42, not 52. That was mainly the result of two month-long offline travel adventures: through Myanmar, May-June, and in the remote Andaman Islands of India, Dec to early Jan. 2014.

During those times when I couldn’t connect to the internet reliably, I presented several of my archived stories that readers had found especially useful, interesting or popular. I didn’t want anyone getting bored!

Out of all the new travel stories I wrote in 2013, I’ve selected the ’12 Best’ of the year. I chose them based on reader popularity and/or posts I believe to be especially useful, fun or interesting.
