St Petersburg lies just across Tampa Bay from Tampa, Florida. It was Florida’s original tourist destination in the early 1900s. Throngs of people were lured there to improve their health by basking in Florida’s wonderful sunshine.

Since then St Pete has gone through many phases to its present day incarnation as America’s Best Mid-size City for the Arts. Besides the internationally acclaimed Dali Museum and Dale Chihuly Collection, hundreds of local artists, galleries and studios make up St Pete’s thriving art scene.

St Pete is also graced with many historic buildings, homes and neighborhoods. And of course, it being Florida, St Pete has its share of yacht marinas, beaches, sub-tropical vegetation and water birds. The city holds a few other unique surprises as well…
